1. Who can purchase
This portal is for UK-based business customers purchasing for their business with a UK billing address. If you are purchasing as a consumer or are based outside the UK, contact us before paying so we can agree suitable terms and tax treatment.
2. Your package and project agreement
The package description and selected extras form the starting scope. We confirm your project scope, content requirements and timetable in writing before starting work. A deposit reserves the project subject to that agreement; it does not promise an immediate start or a fixed launch date. If we cannot agree a scope within your purchased package, you can decline a revised quote and receive a full refund before work begins.
Work begins only after the deposit is received and we have agreed the scope and received the required content and access. Indicative timescales start at that point. Delays in content, access, third-party providers or approvals can change the schedule. We will explain material changes.
3. Prices, deposit and balance
All prices are in GBP. Checkout shows the net amount, manual UK VAT at 20% and the VAT-inclusive total. You pay 50% of the agreed website build and selected build extras at checkout. The remaining 50% is due before launch. Monthly care is separate and is not charged or subscribed to by the deposit checkout. We provide an invoice for the deposit and balance with our VAT details.
Custom portals and work outside the fixed packages require a written quote before purchase. Domain registration, email mailboxes, premium licences, paid platforms, booking tools, processor charges and other third-party costs are separate unless expressly included. You approve additional charges before we incur them.
4. Content, changes and review
You must have the rights to supplied text, images, branding and other materials, and provide accurate business information. Each standard build includes two consolidated revision rounds within the agreed scope. New pages, features, integrations and substantial changes are quoted separately and need your written approval. You review the website and approve it before launch. We do not guarantee search rankings, sales or enquiry volumes.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel by emailing us. Before work begins, the deposit is refundable in full. Once work begins, we calculate a fair charge for work actually completed and any unavoidable third-party costs that you approved in advance, explain the calculation, and refund any unused deposit. The deposit is not automatically non-refundable. Any charge above the deposit must relate to work or costs you expressly approved. If we cancel, we explain the position and refund amounts paid for work not delivered.
Contact us promptly about duplicate payments, errors or delivery concerns. We investigate with you and confirm any refund and its timing in writing. Refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Monthly care
The selected care plan starts at launch, billed monthly under a separately confirmed arrangement. You can cancel by giving 30 days' written notice to our email. Unused content-editing allowances do not roll over. Editing covers supplied content on existing pages; redesigns, new pages and new features require a quote. Routine maintenance is separate from the editing allowance. Booking, shop and other provider subscriptions remain subject to the provider's terms and costs.
Before cancellation takes effect, we agree a handover or migration plan. If a cancelled plan includes hosting, you must arrange replacement hosting by the agreed end date to keep the website online. Any additional migration work or third-party fee is quoted for approval first.
7. Ownership and third-party services
On full payment, you receive the agreed bespoke deliverables and rights specified in the written scope. Third-party software, templates, fonts, media, subscriptions and open-source components remain subject to their own licences. We explain material ongoing licence or hosting dependencies before you commit. We do not claim ownership of your supplied content.
8. Contact and disputes
Please raise concerns by email with your project and payment reference. We aim to resolve issues directly and confirm agreed remedies in writing. These business terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts, without overriding any mandatory rights.
